John Zamudio was born in Lima, Peru. Acute observer by birth, his restless effort to capture the multiple expressions of the human being led him, while still a young child, to create drawings of exceptional accuracy and finishing.
His artistic skills rewarded him with multiple recognitions during his academic and social lifeWith Business administration and Computers as additional majors, he became an integral artist, combining digital technology in the sketching process as well as traditional painting techniques.
His paintings are specially valued for their exquisite way to represent in its portraits the vast diversity of the expressions of the human soul. His Thematic represents the Latin-American culture from a mystic and human point of view, abounding in traditional and religious details. For that reason a characteristic of his work is the representation of smiling faces as a result of profound devotion to Jesus Christ who is the spiritual and moral axis of pre-Columbian culture.
