Lost City

Located in the top of a mountain almost 4000 meters over sea level, its construction is dated on the XV century. It was a center of cult and astronomic observation, as well as private state of the family of the Inca Pachacutec. It is a majestic archeological complex of great architectonic level and work on stone.

Located in Cusco, Peru, it was discovered in 1911 by Dr. Hiram Bingham, of the University of Yale. In 1983 the site has been designated as a United Nations Educational World Heritage Site.
